Our exclusive Intergranular Fusion Color-Impregnated Stone (IFCIS) is a selection of marble & granite that has undergone a deep-penetration coloring process. The marble and granite slabs are not ground, powderized, or mixed with fillers or resin. They are actual natural slabs of stone, with our proprietary coloring process applied. All of the natural veining, crystal formations, and character of the stone is preserved. This process creates a line of vivid, stunningly beautiful blue, green, red & gold colors.
The Intergranular Fusion coloring process allows us to create colors not found in nature. In addition to creating amazing colors, this process also enhances the natural stain resistance of the stone. The pigments are UV stabilized, and therefore extremely resistant to fading.
We take great care in hand selecting each slab of stone, choosing material that will not only accept the coloring treatment uniformly, but also exhibits the most beautiful crystal structures. After cutting, we then inspect each piece, discarding tiles that may contain undesirable natural blemishes or coloring.
The end result: A completely unique product which maintains the natural beauty of the stone from which it is made. The pictures shown here are an example of our Sebastian Blue marble.
