How to Order Countertops
Our objective is to provide our customers with personalized customer service, regardless of the distance between us. We ship our custom-fabricated countertops throughout the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, Bermuda, and Hawaii, but we try to make the ordering process as easy as working with someone in person. You will not find any online order forms to drudge through, with questions that are not relevant to your specific needs. Instead, here's how the process works:
1) Send us a sketch of your kitchen (or bathroom) countertops. Nothing more than a pencil sketch is needed, so long as the dimensions are accurate. Please be sure to include your name and contact information. In most cases our response time will be within 2 hours, and cost estimates are provided "same day". You may scan & email your sketch to us, or, fax us at 401-398-7243. If you prefer to use a drawing-aid software for your sketch, we can accept many formats, including Power Point, AutoCAD .DXF, Adobe .pdf, .bmp, and .tif file format to name a few. An example of a typical customer sketch is shown below.
2) We will return to you a written quotation, with drawing, which explains precisely how many pieces of stone will be used for your kitchen, where seams will be located, and the location of our freight terminal nearest to you. Remember, shipping is free for continental US customers, to our freight terminal closest to your location. We can also arrange delivery to your residence from the freight terminal for an additional cost, if needed. At this time you will have the opportunity to speak with us directly about any concerns you may have with the location of seams, special features or cuts, and ordering samples of our colors to assist you with selecting a stone.
3) Upon acceptance of our quotation, a detailed shop-fabrication drawing will be created and sent to you for a final check and approval. This drawing will include all critical design information including: 1) Full dimensions, 2) Specifications for sink and/or cooktop cut-outs, 3) Decorative edge profile, 4) Location and use of back-splashes, 4) Your choice of stone.
4) Upon receipt of your signed drawing and invoice, a 50% deposit will be required. Production will begin on our countertops. When the countertops are finished and ready for shipping, inspection photos will be sent to you by email for a final review before packing. Then, in 6-8 weeks they will arrived at the predetermined destination. It's that simple!
